Roof replacement
The whole system, not just the shingles: decking verified at tear-off, underlayment, flashing, ventilation, and shingles installed to work together. Recommended only after a real inspection.

Inspect and document
We get on the roof, measure every slope, and photograph the flashing, boots, valleys, ventilation, and edges. You get the findings and the photos behind them.

Review the written proposal
One document: scope, named products, assumptions, exclusions, payment schedule, and how any hidden condition would be handled. Take the time you need with it.

Install and communicate
Property protection first, then tear-off, decking verification, and the system installed in order. Anything unexpected comes to you in writing before it proceeds.

Walk through and close out
Debris hauled, gutters cleared, magnetic sweep for nails, then we walk the roof with you and hand over the closeout package.

What happens during the inspection?
We get on the roof and work through the whole system: measurements, slope by slope photos, flashing at walls and chimneys, pipe boots, valleys, ventilation, and edges. Where the attic is accessible we look at the underside of the decking too. You get the findings with the photos that support them, whether or not the answer is a replacement.
What does a roof replacement cost in Indianapolis?
Most roof replacements we do land between $400 and $500 per square, a square being the roofing unit for 100 square feet of roof surface. A 24‑square roof generally works out to somewhere around $9,600 to $12,000. Where your roof falls in that range comes down to pitch and complexity, how many layers come off, the condition of the decking, flashing and chimney work, ventilation corrections, and the shingle line you choose. We work to stay as competitive as we honestly can without padding the number, putting cheap material on your house, or underpaying the crew installing it. Your exact price is measured at the free inspection and written into the proposal before you decide anything.
Can you price a roof without an inspection?
No, and we would not want to. Roof size, pitch, layer count, flashing details, ventilation corrections, and penetration count all change the scope, and none of them can be verified from the street or a satellite image. The inspection is free and it comes first. That is why we say inspection rather than instant quote.
How are hidden decking conditions handled?
We inspect every accessible part of the roofing system, document visible conditions and warning signs, and verify concealed decking conditions during tear-off before any additional work is approved. If damage turns up, work pauses. You get photos and a written price on the terms already stated in your proposal, and nothing proceeds until you approve it.
Will anything be changed without my approval?
No. Every change to scope or price is documented and approved by you in writing before the work happens. Your proposal states that process up front, so there is no argument about it later.
Who performs the installation?
Installation is completed by licensed and insured Indiana roofing professionals working through Indy Roof Pros' documented project standards. The same inspection, documentation, approval, and closeout requirements apply on every project, and Indy Roof Pros stays accountable for the project from the first inspection through closeout.
What happens during cleanup and the final walkthrough?
Protection goes down before tear-off: landscaping, siding, the AC unit, and the driveway. At the end, debris is contained and hauled off, gutters are cleared of granules, and we run a magnetic sweep of the lawn and driveway for nails. Then we walk the finished roof with you and hand over your closeout documentation.
